Westshore Singers

The Westshore Singers perform two public concert series each year; in early December and in early June. These concerts are held in Gimli and the surrounding communities. We rehearse Wednesday evenings from 7 to 9 at the Gimli Lutheran Church, 50 Third Avenue. We are a mixed voice (SATB) community choir comprising members from several Interlake communities. No auditions are necessary to join.

Ginny Parent, one of the founding members, is the Westshore Singers Accompanist and Karen Lamb, a retired Middle Years band teacher, is the Music Director and Conductor. Entertaining audiences for 20 years, the Westshore Singers have performed over 100 concerts, raised money for local charities, and given young performers from the area opportunities to perform as guest artists. With members from across the Interlake – from Selkirk to Riverton, Gimli to Teulon, and everywhere in between -  the Westshore Singers is truly a community choir.
